Angeline Mangiacarne

Mrs. Angeline R. Mangiacarne, 102, of Altoona, formerly of 1607- 19 ^th Ave. died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Mrs. Mangiacarne was born in Altoona, Pa on March 23, 1916, daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Battaglia) Cancilla. She married Henry T. Mangiacarne June 19, 1932 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. He preceded her in death May 2, 1993.

She was a Homemaker.

She was a member of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Altoona, Pa.

Angeline was a member of AARP and the Alzheimers Association. She loved being with her family, Lawrence Walk, Polkas, Cooking, animals and helping others.

She is survived by a daughter Joan M. Conroy of Duncansville and a son William A. (Judy) Mangiacarne of Portage, Pa. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Joseph M.Mangiacarne, a bother Frank Cancilla, 2 sisters lda Sinceri and Rose Frucella and a son-in-law Ralph Conroy.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, Pa with Msgr. Robert C. Mazur celebrating.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received from 6-8 PM Friday, February 15, 2019 at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil For the Deceased will be held during the visitation.
