Carl Drumeller

Mr. Carl Lee Drumeller, 87 of Garden City, KS, died at 5:25 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Homestead Assisted Living Center, Garden City, KS.

Mr. Drumeller was born in Colorado Springs, CO on November 29, 1928, son of the late Clarence Leroy and Lydia Ann (Shoemaker) Drumeller.

He retired in 2009 as a setup man at Tyson Meats. Previously he was vice-president of Smithfield Meats and Hormel Meat Company.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Carl was a graduate of Colorado Springs High School and Penn State University.

He served in the U.S. Navy in WWll and received WWll Victory Ribbon.

He was the widower of Catherine Marie (Smith) Drumeller, whom he married September 7, 1948 at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Altoona. She died July 11, 1989. He then married Patricia Ann Curran in Sioux City, IA and she died in 2008.

He is survived by a sister Barbara Ann Booker, Kansas. He is also survived by a nephew Dr. Scott Booker and a niece Ann Fama of Altoona.

Committal Rites will be held at Alto Reste Park at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 Altoona.
