Clair Yeamans Jr.

Clair J. "Bo" Yeamans Jr. 64, of Altoona, died at Approx 4:20 AM, Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his residence, after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mr. Yeamans was born in Altoona on May 26, 1950, son of the Clair John Yeamans Sr. and the late Mary Elizabeth (Brannen) Yeamans - Scott. He married Gretchen A. Caporuscio August 17, 1989 in Hollidaysburg, Pa.

He retired in 2009 as a Machinist / Welder at Norfolk Southern Railroad Altoona with 40 years of service.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church Altoona, Pa.

"Bo" is survived by his wife and 2 children Katie R. (Fiance' Matthew Over) and Cory J. Yeamans both of Altoona, 2 granddaughters Hayden Ann Over and Synthia M. Yeamans, father, Clair Jojn Yeamans Sr. of Angola, NY and 3 siblings Kevin M. Scott, James j. Scott and Kim M. (husband Steven) Weyandt, all of Altoona, Pa.

He was 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Blair County Genealogical Society. He enjoyed photography, restoring antiques and his cat Louie.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona, Pa.

Committal will be private at the convenience of the Family at Calvary Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil For the Deceased will be held during the visitation.
