Francis Plutko

Mr. Francis J. "Moose" Plutko, 75 of Altoona, Pa died Thursday morning, September 10, 2015 at his residence after a brief illness.

Moose was born in Glen White, Pa. on June 19, 1940, son of the late Joseph and Rose (Burick) Plutko. He married E. Ann (Bettwy) Brennan may 15, 1971 at St Leo Catholic Church, Altoona.

He retired as a laborer at Bettwy Electric with 15 years of service and previuosly worked at Proctor - Silex as a supervisor with 19 years of service.

He was a member of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Altoona, Pa.

Mr. Plutko attended Altoona High School and served in the US ARMY.

Moose is survived by his wife, 3 daughters and a son Lisa Ann (Dan) Brennan, Deborah M. (Mike) Lytle - Crum, Andrea M. (Pat) Patterson, and Joseph V. Plutko all of Altoona, Pa. 2 sisters Marge Della of Cresson, Pa; and Rose Ciavarella of Altoona, Pa. Mr Piutko is survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, a nephew John F. Piutko, many in - laws and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son - in - law Todd Lytle and 2 bothers Joseph & Stephen Plutko.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 14, 2015 at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona with Msgr. Robert C. Mazur officiating.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received from 4 - 8 PM Sunday, September 13,2015 at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held during the visition.
