John Ivey

Mr. John "Johnny" Ivey, 39, of Altoona, Pa. died at 2:30 PM, Monday, February 2, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Ivey was born inJasper, Alabama on April 29, 1975, son of Rebecca (Pugh) Ivey and the late Alberto Ivey. He married Heather M. McMClellan July 7, 2004 in Las Cruces, NM.

He retired as a radio Disc Jockey at Radio Las Cruces, Las Cruces, NM with 4 years of service. He was also a caretaker.

He was of the Pagan Faith.

John greduated from Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1995. He enjoyed his family, playing and singing music. He loved music so much, being a lefty, the taught himself to play the guitar. He also collected Superman and Wrestling memorabilia.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 8 children Jacob Riddle, of Minneapolis, MN, Kaitlyn Riddle, of Frisco, TX, Jarrett Ivey, Amberlie Ivey, Nicholas Ivey, and Autumn Ivey, all of Las Cruces, NM, and Destiny Ivey, at home, Mother Rebecca Hallmon, of Katy, TX, a bother Mattew Hallmon and a sister Laura Kropelnicki, both of Katy, TX. Jone was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert "Scot" McMClellan.

A family conducted service will be held at 7:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, Pa. on Monday, February 9,2015

Friends will be received Monday, February 9, 2015 from 4-7 PMat Jones Funeral Home.
