Mr. Joseph N. Wysocki, 88, of Altoona, Pa, died at 12:40 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Presbyteeian Village At Hollidaysburg, after an extended illness.

Mr. Wysocki was born in Altoona, Pa. on December 2, 1926, he was son of the late John and Catherine (Evonic) Wysocki. He married Mary M. "Sally" Riggleman September 25, 1948 at St Leo's Catholic Church, Altoona.

He retired in 1980 as a Quality Control Technician at Veeder-Root Altoona Pa with 27 years of service.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Altoona, Pa.

Joseph was a graduate of Aloona High School. He enjoyed his children, grandchildern, cooking, horse races and playing cards

. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force, 2015th Labor Supervision Company, as a Cpl in WW ll.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 daughters Christy L. (Chuck) Hoenstine and Sally J. (John) Horon, both of Altoona, Pa. Joe is survived by 6 grandchildren Melissa Gibney, Tina (Husband Mike) Lynn, S cott (wife Nikki) Gibney, Jackie 9Husband M.J.) Marasco, Johnny (Fiance' Lori Myers) Horon, and Cory Horon (girlfriend Jessica D. Irvin who died last week. 10 grant grandchildren Logan, Roy and Marcella Lynn, Madelyn, Mason, Max Gibney, Jake and Emma Marasco and Cheyenne and Marcus Myers and a sister Cecelia Frank of South Carolina. Joe was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Horon and baby siblings Michael and Louise Wysocki.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Altoona, at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 with Msgr. Michael Servinsky officiating.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received Friday from 4-8 PM at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil For the Deceased will be held at 7:00 PM.
