Judith Mccormick

Mrs. Judith A. McCormick, 69, of Altoona, Pa died at 3:59 PM, Monday, August 13, 2018 at UPMC – Altoona, after an extended illness.

Mrs. McCormick was born in Altoona, Pa on June 30, 1949, daughter of the late Paul P. Cruthers and Elizabeth (Cruthers) Eicher.

She was a Homemaker.

She attended Altoona Alliance Church, Altoona.

Judy was a 1968 graduate of Altoona Area High School and was a member of Bavarian Aid Society, Newburg Volunteer Fire Association and Hollidaysburg Sportsman’s Club.

Judy married Charles H. “Chuck” McCormick September 28, 1974 at United Prebyterian Church, Juniata.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Jay E. (Jennifer) McCormick, of Mountville, Pa; a granddaughter Grace McCormick; and 5 siblings, Linda Davis, of Altoona, Pa; Richard J. (Connie) Cruthers, of Altoona, Pa; Thomas W. (Peggy) Cruthers,of Summerville, SC; Harry E. Cruthers, of Los Angeles, CA; and Nancy J. Hock, od Altoona, Pa. Judy is also survioved by numerous nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Shirley Vaughn, Betty Smith and Paul Cruthers.

A Private Family Service will be held at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, Pa at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 17, 2018 with Pastor Tim McGarvey officiating.

Interment is private at convenience of the Family at Grandview Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

There will be no public visitation.
