Kevin Elvey

Kevin A. Elvey (September 17,1958 - November 29, 2015)

Kevin passed suddenly living a life he loved. He was born the son of Gladys J. (Parks) Elvey. Continuing his life are his loving wife of 37 years, Eileen (Hallinan) Elvey; children Kevin, Mindy, and Joshua; sisters Sharon (Bob) and Patty; brother Jody and Doug (Teri); and Sister - In - Law Maxine. He is also survived by his beloved Hallinan Family in -Laws; mother - in - law Frances, Danny, Dennis (Patty), Colleen (Steve), Karen (Thom), Joey (Karen), Kerry (Cathy), Pat, Michael (Christine), Chris (Kris), John(Michelle), and Brian. He is also revered by his many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Bonnie and Brothers Ronnie, Joseph, David, and Jim; Father - In -Law Joseph Hallinan, and sister - in - law Mary Ellen. He was a graduate of Altoona Area High School's class of 1976. Kevin was an Ironworker prior to dedicating 25 years to Protecting and Serving with the City od Altoona Fire Department.

Kevin enjoyed fishing and being outdoors with friends. Nothing, however, made Kevin happier then time spent with family. He was an excellent confidant, reliable friend, wonderful husband, and perfect dad. Kevin is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. In lieu of Kevin's for a service, it is requested that you present flowers to someone you love, in Kevin's honor. At Kevin's request, all immediate arrangements will be private. However, Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for all who know and loved him.
