Marjorie Kelley

Mrs. Marjorie Ann Kelley, 88, of Hollidaysburg formerly of 1212 Eighteenth Avenue, Altoona died at 1:40 a.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 at her residence of complications of Alzheimers Disease.

Mrs. Kelley was born in Altoona on April 21, 1928, daughter of the late Robert, Sr. and Bertha (Schenk) Adams. She married Patrick Joseph Kelley August 19, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altoona. He died July 14, 2008.

She retired in 1995 as a cafeteria worker from the Altoona Area School District with 20 years of service.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.

Marjorie was a 1946 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a volunteer for many organizations at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.

She is survived by a daughter Karen Ann Kelley, Hollidaysburg; step-granddaughter Jennifer Rhodes of Reynoldsville; four siblings, Catherine Lauer of Altoona; Edward "Ted" Adams of Altoona; Joann Schiecht of Akron, NY; and Lois Steinbugl of Altoona.

Marjorie was preceded in death by a step-grandson, Dustan Rhodes and five siblings, Robert, Paul, Clarence "Chick", James and Jack Adams.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 with Fr. Anthony Legarski officiating.

Committal rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.

Friends will be received Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 4 - 7 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 4:00 p.m.
