Mary Collins

Mary Jeanne (Crowl) Collins, 84, of Hollidaysburg, Pa. died at 5:45 AM, Saturday, February 14, 2015 at UPMC Altoona, after brief illness.

Mrs. Collins was born in Altoona, Pa. on June 15, 1930, daughter of the late William Frencis and Myrtle Marian (Hetrick) Crowl. She married James Anthony Collins May 6, 1952 in Winchester, VA. He died September 11, 1999 after 47 years of marriage.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Chuch Altoona since 1941.

Jaenne was a 1948 graduate of Altoona High School. She enjoyed cooking, walking, animals feeding birds, going out to eat and helping others and trips to Bellville.

She is survived by 2 daughters Sharon E. Collins, of Hollidayburg, Pa. and Linda L. (Johnny) Flores, od Dublin OH, asister Anne Mauk, of Bellwood, Pa Jeanne is survived by 2 grandsons Brett (Jennifer) Amheiser of Athens, TX. and Brian (Meaghan) Flores of Yorktown, VA. 7 great grandchildren Alex, Jack and Cole Amheiser Neko, Peli, Vashni and Mara. She was preceded in death by a daughter Kathleen Louise Taylor April 8, 1977 and 4 bother Jim, Tom, Bob and Bill Crowl.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 20, 2015 at St, Mark"s Catholic Church, Altoona, Pa with Fr. Ronald V. Osinski officiating.

Committal Rites will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood, Pa.

Friends will be received from 5-8 PM Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held during the vistation.
