Mr. Paul W. Richardson, 68, of Altoona, Pa died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at UPMC - Altoona, unexpectedly.

Paul was born in Altooona, Pa. October 21, 1946, son of the late Paul Leroy and Rita Aileen (Gority) Richardson. He married Cecelia S. Resig who is surviving.

He retired in 1998 as a welder at Conrail with 25 years service.

He had attended Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Altoona, Pa.

Paul was a 1966 graduate of Altoona High School. He enjoyed fishing, fly tying and reading.

He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Vietnam War.

Paul is survived by 3 children Joanna M. Richardson, of Columbus, OH, Ian W. Richardson and Michael J. Richardson both of Altoona, Pa. 4 brothers Sean Allen, Michael Emmett Allen, William Allen and Joseph Fornwalt all of Altoona, Pa. Paul was preceded in death by a sister Deborah Smith.

A Funeral Service Outside of Mass will be celcbrated at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, Pa. at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 29, 2015 with Msgr. Robert C. Mazur officiating.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery Altoona. Pa.

Friends will be received Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 6 - 8 at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil For the Deceased will be held during the visitation.
