Mrs. Pauline H. (Helen) Casciotti, 100, of Hollidaysburg formerly of Greenwood, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, after a brief illness. Pauline was well loved by all and she loved everyone in return.

Mrs. Casciotti was born in Altoona on January 10, 1916, daughter of the late Cesare and Philomena (Langanella) Colombo. She married Raymond J. Casciotti October 19, 1940 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. He died April 18, 1992.

She retired in 1977 as an assistant manager at Long's Dairy Store, Greenwood, Altoona with 18 years' service. Previously she had been employed by Boyer Candy Company and Altoona Shoe Factory.

She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Altoona and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.

Mrs. Casciotti was a past member of the Bavarian Aid Society, Golden Nuggets and Horseshoe Seniors Club. She enjoyed bingo, the birds at Garvey Manor, cooking, traveling, crocheting, reading and her "stories".

She is survived by three daughters, Donna (companion Jim Daski) Harpster of Hollidaysburg; Phyllis (husband Timothy) Wiedemer of Altoona; and Lorraine (husband Ray) Keech of Hollidaysburg; a brother Michael Colombo and a sister Esther McLucas, both of Altoona; and a brother-in-law Leonard (Marion) Casciotti of Philadelphia. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by eight siblings, Helen Colombo, Mary Colombo, Ann Nardelli, Peggy Petta, Yolanda Fusco, Ernest Colombo, Joe Colombo and Andy Colombo.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg with Msgr. Stanley B. Carson officiating.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.

Friends will be received Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 3 - 6 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home where a vigil for the deceased held at 2:45 p.m.
