Rachel Darlene Marie Ward, 25, Patton, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023. Born August 25, 1997, Denver, Colorado, daughter of Roger R. and Allison L. (Crouse) Ward Sr. Preceded in death by her father. Survived by her mother, Patton; daughter, Rylie R. Alley, Williamsburg; brother, Roger R. Ward Jr., Patton; uncles, Scott Ward and wife Tracy, Williamsburg; and Kurt Ward and wife Sherry, Huntingdon; and her two close friends, Mattia and Makenzie Cooksey. Rachel enjoyed paintballing, cooking, crafting and Altoona Curve Baseball. She loved the outdoors, going on hikes, four-wheeling, and going to Raystown Lake. Most importantly she cherished spending time with her daughter, family and friends. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. at Cook’s Kitchen formerly The Phoenix, 300 4^th Ave., Altoona.
