Steven Hinkle

Mr. Steven Wayne Hinkle, age 68, of Claysburg, Pa, died at 10:28 AM, Friday, November 13, 2015 at his residence, after an extended illnes.

He was born in Cumberland, MD. May 2, 1947 son of the late Donald L. and Norma L. (Hamiton) Hinkle. He married Susan A. Magruder, June 3, 1995 in LaVale, MD.

He worked as a Maintainence Man at Blind Association of Cumberland, MD.

He was of the Lutheran Faith.

Steve was a graduate of Allegany High School, Cumberland, MD. He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Chapter 172. He enjoyed the Outdoor and his cats.

He served in the U.S. Army as a SP - 5 during ther Vietnam War an received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal W/Device 60, Vietnam Service Medal, Parachutist Badge and Expert M - 14.

He is survived by his wife and 2 daughters Nicole Ollinger of Buffalo, NY and Tiffany Ann Fenton of Frostburg, MD, 5 grandchildren a bother Rodney Hinkle, of Cunberland, MD; and sister Janet Catania, of Greensburg, NC.

There will be no visitation or service.
