Wilbert Kiser

Mr. W. Paul "Big Guy" Kiser, 62, of Portage, Pa died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at UPMC – Altoona, Pa after an extended illness.

Mr. Kiser was born in Bedford, Pa on October 5, 1955, son of the late John R. and Margaret L. (Twigg) Kiser Sr. He married Donna Spade October 6, 1979 in Fishertown, Pa. She died June 10, 2002.

Paul was a 1975 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School. He was a member of Alum Bank Volunteer Fire Association and enjoyed fishing, working on bicycles, cars, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with his family and his precious pets.

He is survived by a daughter Rebecca L. Kiser with whom he resided, of Portage, Pa. 5 siblings John R. (Carolyn) Kiser Jr. of Mineral Point, VA; Lillian V. Kiser of Alum Bank, Pa; Shirley J. (Roger) Foor, of Manns Choice, Pa; Twin Sister M. Paulette Taylor, of Bedford, Pa; and E. “Elroy” Kiser, of Manns Choice, Pa. Paul is also survived by 2 grandson, Dakota and Eli. He was preceded in death by a son Little Paul Kiser, an infant sister and a sister Barbara Bolen.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 6:00 PM Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, Pa with Rev. Robert Gohn Jr. officiating.

Friends will be received Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 4-6 PM at Jones Funeral Home.
