David Scott Riley

David Scott Riley, 54, Duncansville, died Saturday at his residence.

He was born in Altoona, son of Nancy J. (Schucker) and the late Richard A. Riley. On Oct. 22, 2001, he married Anna M. (Snouffer) Riley in Altoona.

Surviving along with his wife of 20 years, Anna, are his mother, Nancy; two siblings, Dustin Riley and Bridget Sorichetti; two nephews, Tyler Riley and Rowen Sorichetti; a niece, Kyla Riley; maternal grandmother, Bridget Schucker; his beloved dog, Tabitha; and numerous extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard A. Riley; a brother, Jason A. Riley; maternal grandfather, Donald L. Schucker; and paternal grandparents, David C. and Phyllis J. Riley.

David was a 1986 graduate of Altoona Area High School and went on to receive a welding certification from Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center. He proudly owned and operated Riley Painting.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. David also enjoyed antique hunting and remodeling his home.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona.
