Frank J. Rafacz

Rafacz, Francis “Frank” J., 67, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away on December 14, 2022. Born on July 18, 1955, in Spangler, he was the son of the late Frank and Rita (Brown) Rafacz. Preceded in death by sister-in-law, Jennifer Quick; and brothers-in-law, John Rife and Peter Rossi. Survived by siblings, Barbara Rossi; Sharon Sanders and husband, Walter; John Rafacz; and Rita Rife; nieces, Emma and Tess Sanders, Stephanie Rife; and Sarah Rafacz; nephews, Jacob Rossi; Michael Rife and Daniel Rafacz; great-niece, Hannah Majofsky; great-nephews, John and Eli Majofsky; aunt, Irene Zajac; uncle, Ken Brown and wife, Carol; and numerous cousins. Raised in Fallentimber, he is a graduate of Glendale High School, Flinton, and attended Pennsylvania State University, Altoona Campus. He was a Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter through The American College, Bryn Mawr, and he held Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses. He retired from Commonwealth Financial Services in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He previously worked for many years in management with the JCPenney company. Friends and family will be received Friday, April 28, 2023 from 6-8 p.m., Jones Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11 a.m., by a family friend. Inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, An Anderson Family Firm, 1222 13th Avenue, Altoona.
