Gina Strayer

Mrs.  Gina L. Strayer, of Altoona, Pa, died at 12:32 PM, Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at UPMC-Altoona, after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Mrs. Strayer was born in Altoona, Pa on February 22, 1960, daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Paris) Faretta. She married James E. Strayer February 4, 1980 in Altoona.

She was a Homemaker and a loving mother.

Gina was a 1978 graduate of Altoona Area High School and attended Altoona Campus of Penn State University. She enjoyed her children, gardening, her home and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband and 2 children Justin J. Strayer, of State College, Pa; and Samantha H. Strayer, of Altoona, Pa; 3 sister Madeline Shea and Claudia Freas, both of Hollidaysburg, Pa and Bardara Faretta, of Altoona, Pa.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass Monday, October 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, Pa with Msgr. Stanley Carson officiating.

There will be no public visitation.
