Mark Balmforth

Mark Thomas Balmforth, 60, of Austin, TX died Friday, September 27, 2019 unexpectedly at his residence.

Mr. Balmforth was born in Pensecola, Florida on April 19, 1959, son of the late Stanford Cleworth and Barbara (Dieges) Balmforth.

He was employed music, was a prolific reader of philosophy, history, museums, and was a marathon and half marathon runner.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Mark is survived by 3 siblings David Michacel (Sally)Balmforth, of Altoona, Pa; Anne Elizabeth (John) Coppersmith, of Woodbridge, VA; and Paul Danien Balmforth, of Stroudsburg, Pa and was preceded on death by 5 siblings, Diane Marie Balmforth, Phillip Andrew Balmforth, Gregory Gerard Balmforth and Matthew John Balmforth and grandparents George and Gladys Balmforth and Bernard and Gertrude Dieges.

There will be no funeral service in Altoona.

Committal Rites will be held at Arlington National Cemetery Arlington, VA.

At the family’s request there will be no visitation.
