Mrs. Patricia A. McCracken, 77, of Bellefonte, Pa, died at 3:31 AM, Thursday, December 31, at her residence after an extended illness.

She was born in Altoona, Pa, on October 22, 1943, daughter of the late Harry and Louise C. (Smith) Beck. She married John D. McCracken July 20, 1963 at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Patty retired in 2006 Customer Service Representative at First National Bank State College, Pa with 5 years of service. She previously worked at Commerce Bank, Mechanicsburg, Pa.

She was a member of Our Lady of Victory State College, Pa but grew up in Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Altoona.

Patty was 1961 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and attended Airline School in 1963. She loved to travel – cruises, flower arranging and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by 2 daughters Diane T. (Brent) Hockenberry; of State College, Pa and Lori L. Bower and friend Lee Paimer of Bellefonte, Pa; former husband John D. McCracken of Kokomo, Indiana. Patty is survived by 2 grandsons Jonnie and Joshua Baker and 2 great grandsons Greyson Baker and Cameron Miller, her 3 three best friends Carol Kaylor, Pam Baxter abd Barb Anderson and her loving dog Molly-Mae. Patty was preceded in death by a brother Ronald W. Beck.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass, at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, Pa at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 with Stanley B. Carson, celebrant Masks and social distancing are required.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Dud to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no public visitation.
