Robert Bollinger

Mr. Robert E. "Bob" Bollinger, 87, of Altoona, Pa, died at 9:40 PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at UPMC - Altoona, after brief illnbess.

Mr. Bollinger was born in Altoona, Pa on September 23, 1927, son of the late J. G. "Jack" and Marie (Handzerlia) Bollinger. He married Patricia A. McCann June 17, 1947 at the Cathderal of the Blessed Sacrament.

Bob retired April 2, 1994 as a Inspector in the Engineering Department at City of Altoona with 41 years of service.

He was a member of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Altoona, Pa.

Bob was a 1947 graduate of Altoona High School. He was a member of the Heidlberg Country Club.

He is survived by his wife and 2 daughters Donna K. (Robert H.) Goon, of Altoona and Cheryl A. (Robert) Kirsopp, of Brunswick, GA; grandson William R. (Stacey) Holley and great gandson Brandon Holley.

Committal services will be held at Alto Reste Park Cemetery at the convience of the family with Msgr. Robert C. Mazur officiating.

At the family's request there will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
