Robin Moore

Robin Diane Moore, 52, of Altoona, died Saturday at UPMC Altoona after an extended illness. She was born in Newark, N.J., daughter of the late Robert William and Doris (Gordon) Ross-Baskerville. She married Corey L. Moore on Sept. 7, 2007, in Newark, N.J.

Robin retired in 2011 as a customer service agent at DirecTV Altoona with two years of service.

She was a graduate of Girls Vocational School in Newark, N.J., and Essex Community College in business administration in New Jersey.

Robin enjoyed cooking and music.

She is survived by her husband; and a daughter, Denae Hurd of Indiana, Pa.; her mother, Doris Baskerville; and stepfather, Richard Baskerville, both of Dothan, Ala.; two grandchildren, Derrick Taborn of Altoona and Za’Niya Battles of Harrisburg; and a brother, Robert Dexter Ross of New Jersey.

Robin was preceded in death by two daughters, Danielle Hurd and Yva-Marie Battles; and her father.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.

There will be no public visitation.
