Robert M. Jones Jr.

Director and Owner

Robert M. Jones Jr., is a third generation funeral director and owner of the Jones Funeral Home for the past 49 years. He married the former Margaret Jean McNealis and together they have four daughters; Ann Hammond her husband Steve, Pam Kupchella her husband Brian, Nicole Kimmel her husband Toby, and Renee Dill her husband Jeremy and ten grandchildren. Bob is a 1963 graduate of the Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science and a 1965 graduate of St. Francis University in Loretto, PA. 

Bob is a member of the Keystone Funeral Director Association, the Pennsylvania Funeral Director Association, and the National Funeral Director Association. He’s also involved in civic organizations, Altoona Kiwanis, the Chairman of Buddy Club for the past 30 years, Treasure and Branch Coordinator of William Penn Association branch 0800, a past president of Altoona Jaycees, and a past member of several Boards of Directors. He has also received the Kiwanian of the year award. 

He enjoys cars, hunting, fishing, his dogs Rocky, Sammy and Willie, gardening and outdoors in general. 

His mission as a funeral director is to serve his families as best as possible during the funeral and support after the funeral.
